Hello, and welcome to my personal blog. Just to give you some background, I am currently the Director of Network Operations for a mid-sized web hosting company based in Baltimore, MD. I have been in IT for about 7 years and am currently Cisco and RedHat certified.
I wanted to start a blog such as this to organize and track some of the side projects that I work on to further my knowledge about certain technologies. I look forward to brining some of my trials and tribulations to the web so others may be able to gain some insight and hopefully save some time and headache. Some things I look forward to bringing to you are:
- Advanced BGP routing with Cisco routers
- Implementing MPLS with Cisco routers and switches
- RedHat 5 GFS configuration
- RedHat 5 HA/Clustering
- MySQL Replication/Clustering
I will try to be diligent about keeping the site updated on a regular basis, and please, if you have any ideas for projects, drop me a line and i’ll see what I can do.
